New York Travel Tips Series Part 1

Special thanks to Peggy King for contributing to the series this week on travel tips for New York. Many of Epsilon members are planning to drive, fly or even take a train. Whatever method you take to get to NY, you are sure to find Peggy's pointers useful.

  • Travel to NYC.  If you plan on driving, parking will be a major expense, with hotels chaging $50/day for parking.  It is much easier to get around NYC by foot, public transportation like buses and subways, or by taxi than by driving around.  The three airports that serve the city are LaGuardia, JFK, and Newark.  LaGuardia is probably the most convenient.  Expect to pay around $300 for a round trip ticket to LaGuardia.
