Scholarship inspires memory project

The quilt was inspired by our Summer pilgrimage to Florence, Assisi, and Rome. We call it Cathedral Window and included in it some of the religious emblems we saw at the various holy sites we visited as well as the panels naming the fruits of the Spirit. We designed it together, then she did the sewing while I did the crochet work.  Scholarship recipients Terri Meaney and Kathleen DeRouche

South District Meeting Harvey

Approximately 72 members registered for the South District Meeting today at the Four Columns in Harvey. Members enjoyed the day of informative presentations and connecting with members from other chapters.

Authors Constance Adler (My Bayou) and Stacey Schouest (The Very 1st Christmas Tree) were present at the meeting to sign copies of their works. Special thanks to Alpha Delta Chapter and their president Ruth Autin for a great job. Many thanks to Sheri Richardson for a wonderful job as South District Director.
